Tennessee Flight Training aircraft include well known brand names like Cessna and Piper, and even newer names like Tampico. These are names that have ruled the aviation world for nearly 100 years. These planes are chosen not only for their brand recognition, but their state-of-the-art technology and ability to perform reliably every day. Our fleet is maintained by multiple mechanics as certified by the Federal Aviation Administration. Our planes undergo stringent inspections before every flight – every 50 hours, every 100 hours and once a year. Safety is a priority at Tennessee Flight Training, and you can be confident in these training aircraft.

Tennessee Flight Training also features a state-of-the-art Redbird LD Simulator. This simulator is FAA-certified as an Advanced Aviation Training Device and features 200 degrees of visuals. Our simulator is the perfect solution to keeping your skills sharp no matter what the weather outside is. Private Pilot students can receive training on this simulator and log the time as instruction for their certificate. Instrument pilot students also benefit by doing their Instrument Proficiency Check as well as approaches to airports of their choice. Commercial pilot students benefit the most by counting up to 50 hours of simulator time toward their rating. Tennessee Flight Training’s Redbird simulator can increase your learning while saving you more than 40% on your training costs!
